Vous voudriez un rendez-vous avec moi? While my French skills may not be up to par (je suis désolée!), there is one thing that’ll be good enough to channel your inner Parisian. More so than that one time you chose to wear a bright red beret or indulge in a crêpe at Disney’s Epcot. Been there, done that.

This might be the dinner of your dreams, so you’re welcome in advance. Ever heard of Dîner en Blanc? Do a dance because... YOU’RE INVITED!!! Let’s just take a moment to holla at your haters and wave goodbye. Because they will be SO jealous of you and will be forced to live vicariously through your Snapchat and Instagram.

Now for the fun part. The magic is happening September 15th at 6:30 PM in New York. The dinner location, which will be anywhere in the 5 boroughs of NY, is a secret until a few moments before the dinner. The guests are given a meeting location where a volunteer and group leader will escort them to the ultimate Dîner en Blanc site, at 5:30 PM. Suspenseful, to say the least.

This grand, festive Parisian-inspired picnic is taking place for the 6th time ever in NY thanks to co-founders, Sandy Safi and Aymeric Pasquier. Celeb chef Todd English will be making an appearance this year, while elegant wine is sponsored by Apothic and champagne by Moët & Chandon. Because you’re a newbie, Upicnic will come to the rescue! FYI you will be partaking in Phase 3 of the feast’s sign-up process, and registration opens Tuesday, August 30th at 9am. Whatever it takes - put your baby down, go to the restroom at work, run off the subway for phone service etc. and take a second to sign up! Also, once your invitation is confirmed, attendance is mandatory. Sounds sorta like school, but I can assure you that this is a much, much better version. By the way - the dinner is always on, rain or shine.

Don’t forget - this is an opportunity to double as a foodie and fashionista. Everyone has to stick to the dress code by wearing elegant, white attire, but feel free to be as original and creative as you would like.

While this fête is going to be all fun and games, complete with live entertainment/music, white balloons, and more, the guests have some responsibility too. You have to bring your own folding table, white chairs, a white tablecloth, white dinnerware, and food!

To make your life just a bit easier (don’t we all need that)... we have a majority of the things set for you here, which will guarantee that you’ll have a memorable time with less hassle and stress. We’ve got you covered from a cheese platter, to different sandwiches, fruit, waters, and desserts - all included in an easy-to-carry picnic basket! Purrrrrfect.

Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime chance to show off your français and fine dine with all these random people dressed in white. Most importantly, don’t forget to blame it on the booze.
